Brennivin – Icelandic Aquavit

Description

After a very long wait, the national drink of Iceland, Brennivin, is finally available stateside. Brennivin is known as an aquavit, a spirit made from a fermented mash of grain or potatoes and flavored with caraway and additional herbs if desired. Notes include pure sweet and savory caraway, hints of dill, dried oregano, sweet malted cereal, wild sage, and patchouli.
